Award-winning ventriloquist and entertainer Jim Barber is back on the road — and this season he’s bringing laughter, music, and unforgettable fun to RV resorts across the Rio Grande Valley of Texas with his popular show, Jim Barber & Friends.
Well known for his lightning-fast wit, incredible vocal range, and cast of hilarious characters, Jim delivers a high-energy, family-friendly performance that RV resort audiences truly enjoy. From spot-on impressions and sound effects to musical comedy and audience interaction, every show is packed with surprises — including Jim’s six-foot singing sidekick, Seville.
Joining Jim on tour is his wife and performing partner, Melonie Barber, who plays an important role both on and off the stage. Together, they bring a warm, personable presence that makes each performance feel less like a show and more like a shared experience with friends. Their easygoing humor and genuine connection with audiences have made them favorites with RV resort residents year after year.
The Jim Barber & Friends tour is currently entertaining audiences throughout South Texas, with performances scheduled at RV resorts across the Rio Grande Valley. Following the Texas dates, the tour will make special appearances at a couple of RV resorts in Apache Junction, Arizona, before Jim and Melonie head back to their home base in Branson, Missouri, at the end of March.
Jim Barber is no stranger to the spotlight. He has appeared on national television — including the Late Show with David Letterman — headlined major productions in Branson and Las Vegas, performed worldwide on cruise ships, and entertained U.S. troops through the USO. He is also the host of the Branson-based radio show The Barber Shop, broadcasting weekdays from 9am – 1pm Central on Branson4U.com.
